Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It easily drove close to walls without hitting them and even managed to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.
The robot comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when needed. It has a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it does sometimes get hung in the small rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual border in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station as they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Robot Vacuum Mops , RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble it can navigate tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors, and leaves a huge space between obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings as well as view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You will require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent in removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach every bit of dust. It's essential to clean your home often, at least once a week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It is simple to connect it to your WiFI network at home and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 still has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning times and choose the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home. This allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also stores dust in a larger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
